Shivaani Jain has been in the ecommerce industry for the past 5 years and she has Masters degree in fashion marketing from the prestigious Pearl Academy, Delhi.

She wanted to make a difference in the ecommerce market and hence thought of opening this venture with her sister, Saanchi Jain; who has an eye for design and aesthetic.

People are evolving and in this era of digitalisation, people are buying more products online but still there is a percentage of people who still find it difficult or even unsafe to shop online. The pandemic has made more and more people bridge the gap as most people had to rely on buying products online.

Social media has helped them a lot to reach more people and make their products more accessible. It made them to lower their marketing costs.

Her focus is mainly of these three things:
• Sell customizable products to each individual person.
• Sell designer wear clothes at affordable prices so that more and more people can buy it.
• They are thinking of starting a campaign where they will do faster delivery for people.

Once Upon A Trunk has been manifesting the true potential of home grown designers. They sell a vast range of apparel starting from jewellery, home décor, kids wear and other products. They are working on a B2C shipment model.

Their drop ship model enables the seller to dispatch the products through the esteemed logistic tie-ups like Delhivery, Ecom Express and Bluedart. They have a dedicated team of 15 individuals who have made their name with the kind of products made and delivered to people.

Keeping the future in sight, Once Upon A Trunk is also launching it’s app with a WhatsApp-styling assistance through the screen sharing feature, enabling a user-friendly experience and making your shopping even more easier..

The venture plans to expand the ethereal trunk of an aesthetical lifestyle in the next two years with the addition of 1,000+ brands. Once Upon A Trunk envisions to become the leading marketplace for selling life-wear clothes for all occasions, to each and every woman.

Her motivation is that no matter what happens in your life, always follow your dreams. She herself manages to balance her personal life and work life.
