Official white stitches by Parul & Rimjhim Khanna
Lucknow-based Official white stitches, founded by Parul Khanna and her sister, Rimjhim is one of the first labels in India to design purely original outfits that are natural and plant-based (read sustainable). Another major pointer would be that how one can mix and match the outfits and use the outfits for many different forms of outfits.
Designed especially for all the women across the globe, the color compliment your personality because it depicts elegance, simplicity, innocence and adds to your style statement.
Hailing from Lucknow, growing up around the beautiful, intricate work of traditional chikankari work, they hold an experience of hues, color, pattern and embroidery.
After a few years of working in this field, they had this urge of learning and knowing about more techniques, henceforth they started seeking out opportunities to build up to something of their own because in Lucknow one didn’t have many options of fusion back then.
The turning point came in her life when they decided to create something of her own and that’s how Official Whitestitches was born. The decision wasn’t surely easy for them but they analyzed their strengths and weaknesses, and in that path, they realized that Fashion designing is something that they love doing and is their biggest strength as well.
Having a good knowledge of fashion, the trends they knew that nowadays people don’t focus on the intricate details of the clothing, therefore they started her label where they mixed and match western wear along with Indian traditional designs.
For them, the Target audience is all the women across the Globe and to create comfortable yet stylish clothing that they all can wear and carry easily. They stand out because they are fluid and fancy at the same time comfortable and complete. With God’s Grace and their family’s support, they hope to dress up all the ladies out there in their White Stitches.
The other reason why Official white stitches have been able to stand out in the crowd is primarily that keeping a wide variety of clothing and outfits, everything in shades of different hues and designs. Even mostly they don’t repeat their designs for their customers.
All the fabrics are plant-based, and no artificial materials are used for creating and designing them. Everything is natural, which is a big plus point!
Coming to the struggles that Parul and her sister had to face while giving this a shape and reaching out to the audience is that they are working more on their marketing strategies, as they are what we call a ‘One man Army’ handling everything from Marketing to production and designing.
