Rajasthan Studio is India’s leading platform for artists, art lovers and travelers looking for an art experience.

Rajasthan Studio is a curated start-up dedicated to hands-on immersive art experiences which are hosted by award-winning artists who are art enthusiasts and travelers. They have created a free-artist-focused community called ‘The Circle’ where artists from all over the state can come and connect with each other. It is important to create a community where people can meet and co-learn.

They believe that all it takes is an art of story-telling to bring out the emotions and spark interest in every human.

Rajasthan is a place that is abundantly rich in art and culture and it has so much more to be explored. Most people don’t know about the vast culture and heritage that place has and the artists don’t have a platform where they can showcase it. There are artists who have immense love and respect for their art form and they have followed their passion. But this remains limited to the local people only and even they are not totally aware of it. Rajasthan Studio’s motive is to create a space where people can meet artists like them, learn from them, exchange thoughts and keep the folk culture intact.

The whole inspiration for the brand comes from observing that travelers are not looking for things that are offbeat, which are not packaged, or which is not generic for everyone. Gone are the days that people are following books that they have or just regular lists. Thus the travel expedition of Rajasthan Studio is based on unique experiences for the people as well as giving a platform to the local artists to showcase their talent and keep their roots intact. They first understood these art forms and the history and culture behind them then connected with about 250 artists in Rajasthan.

“When I first set out to do my research, I went looking for people with connections in art, music, or any artist. When I met these people. I related to their careers They choose to do what they really love doing and are extremely passionate about it. Very similar to the millennials and GenZ culture where we look out to connect with something we want to know more about.“ added Kartik Gaggar founder Rajasthan Studio.

When the pandemic struck, there was a lot of uncertainty that got added to Rajasthan Studio. People didn’t know how they would keep this Studio alive.

Founder of Rajasthan Studio Kartik Gaggar said “We were ready to take that plunge and market our experiences, full-fledged when the pandemic happened. All our plans went for a toss and suddenly, we were left with looming fear, uncertainty, and a lot of unanswered questions.”

This is when the community of artists came together and Rajasthan Studio transformed their core value system altogether. This is when Rajasthan Studio 2.0 started and it gave an online platform to artists. There received a huge response from people and they were intrigued to be a part of it. This pushed them further to introduce virtual experiences for corporate and various e-events.

People got a platform to showcase as well as quench their thirst for art. Within a few months, about 10,000+ artists from all over the world became a part of it. People come with distinct forms of art and craft. All this couldn’t have been possible if the people wouldn’t believe in their mission and vision.

They offer around 27+ master class workshops which are hosted by award-winning artists from three cities of Rajasthan — Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur. Rajasthan Studio delivers all together with a different experience for people. They have bottle art, fluid art, pattachitra workshop, macramé weaving, feather painting, upcycled plate workshop, paper making, tie and dye and a host of other things. They also have workshops on miniature art painting, gemstone carving, making of juttis, Rajasthan puppetry, seafoam carving and others. They take care and curate each art form, look after the execution and connect artists from around the world. They conduct their sessions both offline and online. They also conduct workshops for Google, Incredible India and other leading portals.

Aathun by Rajasthan studio is an initiative they started in the pandemic. Most local artists and musicians are not technology-driven and neither there is a platform for them, hence Rajasthan Studio started crowdsourcing. The artists will perform on live sessions and their respective bank accounts will be linked with it so that the viewers can send some money to them directly. Till now they have conducted 20 such sessions. They received an award from Outlook for the best alternative livelihood initiative. This Rajasthan’s Startup has Bagged a Silver for its Unique Initiative for Folk Artists & Musicians.

It is an initiative that connects folk artists of Rajasthan to people from across the world through live sessions on YouTube.Viewers pay as they like through instant payment methods like UPI, Paytm, Google Pay, etc. This initiative is started to financially help the folk artists of Rajasthan who have been affected by the pandemic. They aim to conduct 26 sessions in the coming 12 months.

Rajasthan Studio gives the privilege of experiencing the first art workshop for free. You can sign up for the workshop and be a part of the same. It can also be customized according to your preference. Rajasthan Studio’s primary goal is to build a community or artists where everyone gets to learn and enjoy.

Rajasthan Studio stands for Vocal for Local and a small step towards helping the local immensely talented artists as well as letting the world know about the rich heritage and culture and giving them a new experience.
