Anshuman worked with a start-up for 2 years after graduating from IIT. He had to travel to many cities like Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad etc. for business meetings as part of his job. Being the part of fast paced startup, he had to be prepared for sudden meeting schedules in different cities and there were times when he had to reschedule his meetings and even cancel them due to an emergency.

In this way, he was always connect with booking of flight and hotels. He was spending a hefty amount on his travel expenses but he couldn't find a proper platform where he could optimise the expenses and get an instant support during an emergency situation.

There are corporate driven travel planning companies but they only work with big corporates and they are pretty expensive on the pocket.

There wasn't any company which would help start-ups in travelling in a cost effective manner. He used B2C websites which did not provide any sort of help to these start-ups in terms of travelling.

That's when this brilliant idea struck his mind that there is a need for a proper platform that will help start-ups and mid-level corporates to book and plan their travel in a hassle-free manner and at a lower price.

He discussed the idea with his then roommate, Shubham and thought of developing a platform to cater the need of startup's and started ticketbookkaro.com.

The Co-founders of Ticketbookkaro.com are Anshuman Upadhyay, Shubham Agarwal and Prakash Sharma. Anshuman Upadhyay is the CEO of company. He graduated from IIT Roorkee in the year 2016. Shubham Agarwal is assuming the position as CTO, who graduated from Government Engg. College in Jabalpur and Prakash Sharma is the CMO who graduated from IITC, Mumbai.

TBK is based out of Mumbai and has a 10 member team . This team looks after tech, operations and BD activities of the company.

TBK has got 50+ clients and some of them are Cogoport, Acumen packaging Pvt Ltd, Sapient bridge LLP, Satviko, Ungrammy and more.

Their current sales is Rs 5 Cr per year and they are clocking 750-1000 ticket booking per month, which I personally believe is a mind-blowing job.
