Tanya Guppta is an eponymous label that believes in promoting sustainable lifestyle through fashion. The designs here are timeless with relaxed silhouttes and comforting fabrics. The hues and the craftsmanship is immaculately done thereby bringing those gorgeous, optimistic colours to life.

The eponymous label was launched in July 2018 with an intention to provide comfortable clothing for the Millennial women. Over the span of one fourth of a decade, they have gradually upgraded themselves in the silhouttes and the choice of fabrics.

Tanya Guppta herself is an advocate for organic and green living. She and her team are always up to the task to find out various hacks for a better and sustainable lifestyle.

She believes that only running a sustainable apparel label is not enough instead the entire lifestyle has to be moulded in that way.

Every business is bound to face some struggle and the label by Tanya Guppta is no different.

Tanya Guppta had an excellence in designing but the business aspect is something which was very challenging for her in the earlier days of starting up.

Apparels as a category is also one of the most saturated fields thereby making a mark with her designing and marketing techniques was a daunting task.

From the beginning itself, the idea of her startup revolved around zero wastage.

When there was a lot of scrap fabric as leftovers, they thought of using those fabrics to make cloth bags which eventually helped them stick to their concept of zero wastage.

Gradually, this idea of reused scrap fabric led them to their first collaboration with "Seams for Dreams" which is an initiative by Evelyn Sharma to provide healthcare and hygiene products to the women in need.

They specifically curated quilted pouches and tote bags to deliver the health care products.

The fabrics they use are also certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standard) and OKEO-TEX.

The organic cottons and the hypoallergenic fabrics are extracted from aloe vera fibre, banana fibre, rose petals, bamboo fibre etc.

The main USP of Tanya Guppta label is to provide comfortable yet fashionable clothing which has a long shelf life. There is a different fluidity to her diffusion of collections and the delicately done textures is designed in a way that it can be worn in multiple combinations therbey making it versatile.

Do check their jaw dropping collection and I have also linked their social media handle so that you can stay updated on the latest offerings.
